Grand Tour brought by HP and the National Gallery

Published 26 June 2007, 04:27 PM

Congrats to my British colleagues for this great partnership with the National Gallery in London. HP has reproduced masterpieces from Caravaggio, Le Nain, Monet, Botticelli and others through innovative and creative imaging and printing and turned London into a giant art gallery by hanging the full size paintings in the most unusual places.

A map of the entire Grand Tour (including a selection of ‘mini-tours’) along with further information about the paintings, the story of how the project came about, audio downloads and a picture gallery are all available on a specially created website - www.thegrandtour.org.uk
You can upload your own pictures on the Grand Tour flickr group and a subset will be selected for the site.

I stumbled across a few of these in Covent Garden last night, and scribbled a few comments in my own blog, at http://www.shahidhussain.com/blog/?p=29.
